How to Use?
Hold this 5-10 cm away from the forehead and press the scan button, it will give a temperature reading. This generally gives a reading within a second.
Normal body temperature is 98.6 °F or 37°C, however, the temperature range can be from 97°F (36.1°C) to 99°F (37.2°C). Given the times, if you see any deviation from normal body temperature, take multiple readings and keep on monitoring temperature to ensure that there is no sudden rise or fall in body temperature, this will rule out the onset of fever. You can switch the mode from Celsius to Fahrenheit depending on how you want the reading to show up.
Can the temperature reading be affected by external factors?
Yes, there are several factors that can have cause a fluctuation in the temperature reading. The readings can be temporarily affected by rapid changes in ambient temperature, presence of dust, mist, fog, frost or moisture in the atmosphere or on the forehead. There can be some fluctuations if the device is in proximity of an Electromagnetic device or radio frequency, as it uses the light frequency from a heated surface i.e. the forehead in this case to give a temperature reading.
